Till now people have used several hacks for downloading videos from YouTube. Now users can download YouTube videos without any of those hacks. YouTube now lets you download some videos free of cost in Mp4 format.

Here’s how you can download a video from YouTube;

1. Search the video you’d like to download.
2. You’ll see a download link under the video’s play bar on the left hand corner. Click on it and you’ll see a Download information bar such as this one below.

3. Click the Download button and your download will start in a moment.

Currently the downloading options are a test for certain US partners. Hopefully the video downloads would be widely available soon.

Not all videos are available for free downloads. However you can purchase some videos if you wish to download them. Once you click on Download Video for these, you’ll be redirected to the Google Checkout payment processing page where you must pay a specific fee before downloading the video from YouTube.
