Offline Gmail

Now here’s something very useful. Remember those times when you typed a long e-mail and just when you clicked on the send button, you lost the connection. Well Offline Gmail now lets you work on your mail in the offline mode and once you’re connected, your mail is sent. Neat, effective and relevant.

Inserting images

This is one of the most recent additions to Gmail labs. Now you no longer need to rely on crazy workarounds to insert images within your messages. This neat feature lets you insert images seamlessly within your e-mails.

Superstars

Stars in Gmail let me distinguish important mail from the rest of the junk. Superstars lets me prioritize the starred mail so I know where to go first.

Custom keyboard shortcuts

Keyboard shortcuts help save time. Having custom keyboard shortcuts is the cherry on the cake. It’s heaven for people like me who find it hard to get used to shortcuts someone else defines for me. I’ll be my own boss!

Mouse Gestures

This feature kind of gives me the impression that we’re just a few steps away from a mail slave kind of an e-mail client where we could just blink our eyes and tell the client to read out the mail, go to the next conversation and so on. Mouse gestures lets you navigate through your mails using pre-defined mouse gestures.

Old Snakey

Bored of mails? Sick of spam? Here’s a little old-school game right inside Gmail. Play Old Snakey and hit boredom right on the face.

Advanced IMAP Controls

Choose labels you want to show off, turn on and off a lot of extra features. Very useful.

Mail Goggles

I found it inappropriate the very first time I heard about it. Now I keep this to safeguard myself against mood swings. Very useful in case you’re committed to work or a partner.

Multiple Inboxes

It’s like having multiple girlfriends. Even if you can’t afford multiple partners in real life, enjoy multiple free inboxes within Gmail. Organize your email more efficiently.

Add any gadget by URL

Now this is infinity. Enables you to add any gadget by entering it’s URL. Neat.
